USB Type-C Overview

USB Type-C is a USB interface appearance standard. It has a smaller volume than Type-A and Type-B. It can be applied to both PC (master device) and external devices (slave devices, such as mobile phones).
USB Type-C has four pairs of TX/RX branching lines, two pairs of USBD+/D -, one pair of SBUs, two CCs, and four VBUS and four ground wires.
On June 7, 2022 local time, the European Parliament and the European Council unanimously agreed to use Type-C interface for charging mobile devices in the EU from the autumn of 2024.
